Destiny - Solo Oryx + Challenge Mode (Detonating 16+ Bombs At Once Solo). Just a fairly long video of me solo'ing Oryx, the Taken King in the King's Fall Raid, while also doing Challenge Mode where you need to detonate 16+ bombs at once and take all his health down in the one round.

This is one of the last challenges I wanted to do in Destiny 1, as it was the only unique challenge I hadn't completed solo in the game yet. Was putting it off a little while as I thought it was going to take quite a long time to grind out, but it surprisingly didn't take too long - about 2 hours total of attempts. 1 hour spread out over the last few weeks, and then put in an hour today which got me the kill :) To be honest it's a very sloppy run as I was still learning the fight with these attempts, so the kill was a lot longer than it needed to be. But it got the job done!

The overall strategy involves stacking every bomb at the very entrance to the room. This is a blind spot for the Vessel + Knights to pick up the bombs, allowing you to stack them all up. It's generally pretty difficult to get more than 3 Bombs in a round, so you'll likely end up in enrage. The rounds become a lot tighter there.

Once you need to detonate, you need to make sure you entire side is clear and the Vessel + any other enemies are on the other side of the map. You can only detonate when Oryx is on the back side, and it takes 3 more rotations for him to do so. So if your round isn't clear, you have to wait another 3 rounds until he's on the other back side. This makes the fight much longer than it needs to be.

You then need to perfectly time staggering Oryx + stepping into the bombs, and then if you hit him enough and got all the bombs you'll take him down. The final stagger was real close, I had some delayed bomb detonations so I needed to wait for my self-res. Just barely got the final stagger, but the rest wasn't too bad :)

Other than that, gear is shown at the end of the video, and the rest is as you see. I haven't checked if the footage has any skips this time yet, hopefully it doesn't as I tried changing and deleting a few things on my PS4. If there are skips, I apologize!

I'll also be streaming during the D2 Beta as well. I didn't really get a chance to stream the last week or so, hence why I didn't for this challenge as I said I was going to. Will be on the D2 Beta pretty much non-stop while it's out though, so will have a lot of time to stream it too :)
