Making A Scroll Ring: A Silversmithing Tutorial

This video tutorial shows how to create a style of ring I have made over the years that has proven to be attractive and popular. I chose a piece of Blue Chalcedony for the stone. The materials I used were: 18 gauge sterling round wire, 14 gauge sterling round wire, 26 gauge sterling sheet, and 3/16 inch fine silver bezel strip. I've set many different stones in this style, and they generally look great. This video is a bit longer, but is a detailed tutorial, so I think it is worth the watch time. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school.
