Cries into her pillow so no one hears.
Blames herself for what happened.
Thinks about ending it.

But doesn’t.

Because somewhere deep beneath the fear and the shame and the exhaustion —
something still flickers.
A flame.
Faint. Unsteady. Still trembling in the dark.
But it’s hers.
And it’s still burning.

This song isn’t about strength.
It’s about not giving up, even when she wants to.
About choosing to stay — not because it feels better,
but because he doesn’t get to win.

What once felt sacred becomes suffocating. Love becomes control.
And silence becomes survival.

Cathedral is that voice — an altar to those who endured, a requiem for the ghosts we gave our hearts to, and a prayer for the ones still trying to crawl back to the light.
