The Bill Series 19 Episode 84 Writing On The Wall

Des admits to Sheelagh that he framed Jeff Simpson for the station firebombing, and when she continues to press him, he admits to starting the fatal blaze. She finds herself torn between her lover and doing the right thing. While she considers her options, Des and Reg investigate another post office robbery, however this time the victim has been stabbed. The victim’s wife fails to identify the suspect in an ID parade, and when the shock causes a fatal heart attack, Des tracks down the suspect and inflicts a savage beating. With no answer from Sheelagh about her decision, a series of coincidences makes him think she’s gone to Okaro, causing Des to flip out in an apparent suicide mission. Meanwhile, Gary confesses to Tony that he assaulted his father the day before. Unaware that his father’s place of work is under observation, Gary goes to see him, only to be drawn into a hostage situation.
