Kuala Lumpur - Karak Expressway or better known as KL - Karak Highway is the dual carriageway linking Kuala Lumpur to the East Coast states.

Crossing Titiwangsa Range, the expressway was initially built as the new alignment to replace the windy older road.

The expressway include the first modern road tunnel in Malaysia, Genting Sempah Tunnel.

Why is KL- Karak Expressway the most important road linking the West Coast and East Coast?
