Hi, everybody, coming to you from Right Law Group. It is time for our Facebook Live Friday. Today we've switched things up. Caitlin is on the hot seat today. Here I am. As usual, we like to do these videos to give you a little inside glimpse about Right Law, and especially our team members. And you're probably used to Caitlin doing this, but today, it's her turn. Questions. Yes. So without further ado, let's begin.
Caitlin, we usually start with a question about a little bit of background. So tell us a little bit. Where are you from?
So I grew up around the Chicago area. People call me out for the accent so you can hear it sometimes. So yeah, I grew up there. And then I came to Colorado about six years ago, I lived in Vail for about two years. And then I've been here for the last four in Colorado Springs. Yeah. So great. And so how did you find your way to Right Law?
So I had in 2019, at the end of 2019, I got my degree, and I was like, I want to go back to work. I stayed home with some kids and did all that fun stuff. And I was just ready to go. So actually, like a friend of a friend knew I was looking and saw a post about it on Facebook, which kind of comes full circle, because now that I'm working on Facebook, so yeah, it was a friend of a friend keeping a lookout for me and just kind of came across it like that.
Awesome. Well, we're glad for the friend of the friend. So another question that we like to always ask is, what's one piece of information or some information that you think it would be important for new potential new clients, or people who are looking to hire an attorney? What's something you think that they should know?
So before I ran the social media, I did a lot of the intake for a little bit, beginning of the year and talking to people. What I wish people knew is that, and I think it's, it's come up in a couple of our other lives. Be honest, and we're people we're not here to judge, we're literally like we're here to support. That's, that's what we're supposed to do here. That's what our team does. That's what our attorneys do, that's what our members do. Because a lot of times you will talk to new clients, and they're kind of hesitant to open up at first. And sometimes you got to dig a little deeper to get them to like, tell you the truth and be honest and that kind of thing. But the more you tell your attorney or our team, and the more that we know about what happened or just you as a person, the easier it is for us to support you.
So that's my thing is to be honest, like I know, it's hard, especially, you're probably not in like the best place if you're calling a criminal defense. But we know that and we're here to support you. So like, the more you give us, the more you open up, the easier it is for us to help you. So I know it's hard. But that's one thing I wish people knew. Because the quicker we know you, the quicker that we can work on your case and get things taken care of and offer that support. So that's definitely that's the one thing I just wish everyone knew, like a lot of our clients are first time offenders. So it's even up less know what to expect when you're calling for the first time, but expect us to support you when you open up and let us know what's going on.
