During her arrest, 160,000 euros in her possession were allegedly discovered hidden in a child's crib. Kaili was held in pre-trial detention in Brussels until being released with an electronic bracelet. Her release with an electronic bracelet means that she is still under investigation and cannot leave Belgium.
