Terracotta Drosera 2k

Описание к видео Terracotta Drosera 2k

A collection of botanical timelapse footage feature Drosera Capensis, also called the Cape Sundew. This plant hunts by secreting a sticky on the tops of the little hairs on the leaves. Bugs are attracted to this and they will land on the plant, get stuck and wrapped up in the leaves for digestion.
I really enjoyed working with this set, In the background I used a broken terracotta stone that was sent to me by Christa Ward in Malaysia.
Everything was filmed in my basement studio here in Colorado using Dragonframe and my home built 8 axis motion control rig "Otto", as well as some static cameras and an eMotimo Spectrum.

This will likely mark the end of my time with Carnivorous plants for a while. I plan to start on some new projects and mix things up a bit. I hope you enjoy.

I hope to get a Behind the Scenes video out soon, so stay tuned and be sure to subscribe.
