My dad bought a new 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0T with the 6 speed manual transmission!

The Good:

Sporty looks and driving dynamics
Manual transmission still available with both engines
Manual transmission retains (and adds) all modern technology and safety features
Torquey turbo engine
Extremely responsive steering and brakes
Generous interior space, especially in rear seat
Impressive interior quality for price
Great value in Sport trim

The Bad

All Wheel Drive not available
No analog tachometer
No premium audio system on trims below EX-L
No hatchback or wagon variant
No CD player (most people won't care)

There is no price difference between transmissions on either engine.

The 2.0T package adds in more than just the engine, it also adds features like heated front seats, power sunroof, SiriusXM and HD Radio, and more.
