Well isn't this impressive!

Maximum Speed is available on consoles!

I conjectured last year in a video that I thought Atomiswave to Dreamcast conversions would be possible if someone could solve the "Dreamcast has less Sound RAM" problem compared to Atomiswave. I never worked on it but...MegaVolt 85 and YZB cracked the code and here it is!

Hopefully this leads to a ton more Atomiswave to Dreamcast conversions :) It's always great when people dedicate their time to projects like this; everyone learns more and the preservation and community grow more! So big credit to the Atomiswave porting project...awesome job!

Maximum Speed feels like Sammy's take on Daytona USA, except now you have trucks and Formula 1 cars added to the mix! It's not AS GOOD as Daytona but it's pretty close and it's one more awesome racing game on the Dreamcast...so you really can't complain too much about that can you? lol
