First Ford Escort Mk2 RS2000 - More Bodywork and Primer - Getting Ready for Paint! - Part 3

In part 3 we continue with the last parts of bodywork, fix the dented gearbox tunnel, primer the body shell and prep for paint!

It's not often you get to work on such a special Ford! This is the first Mk2 RS2000 off the production line. The shell was in pretty good condition for its age but a few scabby parts and the paint was letting it down. It came to us for a few bits of metalwork repair and a full repaint before getting unveiled at the 2021 NEC Classic Motor Show in Birmingham. Watch as we restore this classic Ford back to its former glory!
