Day 13: favorite lyric

First of all, I have to wish my child, folklore, a happy fifth birthday!! This album means the absolute world to me and I know I would not be the person I am today without it :)

Secondly, I couldn't decide my ultimate favorite lyric, though I've narrowed it down to "you hear my stolen lullabies" or "and so the battleships will sink beneath the waves / you had to kill me, but it killed you just the same" because OUCH. This entire song is a masterpiece and simply life altering, but the bridge and last chorus are evil and depressing and fit perfectly with Percy Jackson. I really wanted to tell the story of Percy and Annabeth learning to trust each other and accept each other as friends, along with the betrayal storyline. Luke was the first friend Percy met at camp and one of the few people Annabeth considered family and the fact that he betrayed them both still makes me sob (I did, in fact, cry several times while making this video). This is supposed to be a children's book, why are we torturing twelve year olds?

Anywayyyy, Leen and I are somehow twins born eight years and 4000 miles apart because not only did we pick the same song, we picked the same part!! Make sure you watch her video as well (if you don't, you will be hearing my stolen my lullabies when you can't sleep at night :))
