This is my adaption of the 1971 Countdown Comic of Doctor Who, based on Third Doctor Jon Pertwee. He had already appeared in TV Comic, but the Countdown version had much better colour artwork and serious SF stories in keeping with the First Season Pertwee stories like "The Silurians" & "Inferno". In this, the exiled Doctor manages to get the Tardis working, but it quickly conks out and deposits him deep in the deserts of Australia, where he discover a huge secret space project underway headed by a meglomaniac industialist which threatens all life on Earth...
