KHAMAN RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Chana Daal (soaked and grounded)
Turmeric
Chilli
Salt
Water
Above is mixed together and then cooked in a steamer

The steamed Khaman are sliced into bite-sized pieces and then:
Drizzled with Vaghaar (Tempered Oil)
Oil
Mustard Seeds
Garnished with:
Fresh Coriander Leaves
Fried Green Chillies
Red Onion (optional)
Served with:
Green Chutney (made with Khaman, Coriander, Mint, and Chilli

In these current times of financial hardship, it makes sense to tell you of places such as this place, which are serving up very affordable, filling Indian food.


BATETA VADA BALLS RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Potato (boiled, peeled, and mashed)
Chilli
Ginger
Turmeric
Coriander
Mix Masala
Mustard Seeds
Cumin Seeds

BATTER RECIPE INGREDIENTS:
Baking Soda
Salt
Besan (Chickpea Flour)
Water

The above potato mixture is hand rolled, dipped in the above gramflour batter, and deep fried.

VADA PAV:
Buns (Pav)
Green Chutney (Coriander & Mint, Chilli
Red Chilli Vada Pav Masala
Freshly Fried Vada

DAL VADA RECIPE:
Mung Daal
Green Chillies
Ginger
Crushed Coriander Seeds
Fennel Seed Powder
Black Pepper
Fresh Coriander Leaves
Salt
Oil for frying

The humble Vada Pav and Pav Bhaji are two of Mumbai's most famous & popular Indian street foods in India; which can be found being served up everywhere you go in the Indian Sub-continent they are very popular menu items at most roadside stalls as well as restaurants in India, especially in Mumbai (Bombay).

A Vada Pav is India’s version of the great British Chip Butty, at Jalaram Khaman House their Vada Pav consists of a Bateta Vada in a soft bun (pav) with the chef's special Coriander & Mint sauce + a sprinkling of their very own red chilli vada pav masala powder. Call it a spiced up Vegetarian Burger if you wish.
