Kenyans Take to the Streets Mourning Raila Odinga | Roads & CBD Brought to a Standstill
Thousands of Kenyans have taken to the streets across major cities — including Nairobi, Kisumu, and Mombasa — to mourn the death of former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga, who passed away in India after a cardiac arrest.
Emotional scenes unfolded as mourners sang freedom songs, lit candles, and waved portraits of Raila, calling him “the people’s president” and a “true hero of democracy.”
