Athletes around the region had an opportunity to showcase their skills Sunday at David Schuman's National Underclassmen Combine held at Rhea County High School. The athletes go through testing in 40 yard dash, shuttle run, vertical jump, broad jump and bench press, then they have specific position skill evaluation in their specific positions for a full 30 minutes and then a full 30 minutes of one on ones, followed by the 10 minute showcase where the best will go against the best.

Cody Bice, Jared Edwards, Mason Stevenson, Lee Hill, Tyler Pendleton, Zach Daoust, and David Loden joined other athletes in the region to showcase their skills.

MVP winners for Rhea County were Tyler Pendleton, Zach Daoust, and Mason Stevenson. Freshman Cody Bice was another standout for Rhea County. Bice qualified in every category for the NUC100 event to be held in Chicago later this year.
