Juneteenth 2021: using R's ggplot2 to create a line plot and heatmap of lynchings (CC116)

Описание к видео Juneteenth 2021: using R's ggplot2 to create a line plot and heatmap of lynchings (CC116)

Juneteenth is the anniversary of the 1865 emancipation of slaves in Texas. To commemorate this important date, I'm presenting a series of episodes creating data visualizations using data from the CSDE Lynching Database. This episode generates a line plot showing the number lynchings by year and a heatmap showing the trends by state.

Pat will use RStudio and the #geom_line, #geom_tile functions from the #ggplot2 package as well as numerous #dplyr functions. The accompanying blog post can be found at https://www.riffomonas.org/code_club/...
