Dengue cases are expected to rise in the next few weeks and peak around August. This is according to one infectious disease specialist. Two hundred and seventy cases were reported between Jun 11 and 17, over a hundred cases more than the previous week. The National Environment Agency said the warmer months from May to October usually see higher dengue transmission in Singapore.
