Bambi who is an excon from the poverty stricken neighborhood of Plainfield New Jersey heads home to find an eviction notice on her door.
While she's reading the notice she gets a collect call from her mother who is a former drug addict saying she needs Bambi to bail her out of jail because she just got arrested. Bambi tells her to kick rocks because she gave her the money to pay the rent which she obviously didn't do.
Being in a crunch forces Bambi to resort to old behaviors and decision making to keep a rook over her and her little sisters head.
Whole getting caught up in a world wind of drug dealing, robbery, and extortion you will get a behind the scenes look at other lifestyles of aggressive females in Bambis circle that are everything from college grads, married lesbians, to dykes that have babies by men.
