V2 of the Softmatic Barcode Extension for Adobe Illustrator 2021 or higher is now available for download. This version adds support for a wide range of linear barcodes for warehousing, logistics and pharmaceuticals. Also supported are all common 2D barcode types - directly in your Illustrator document:

Barcodes can be widely customized with options for size, readable text and bar width reduction to compensate for dot gain during printing. The extension performs all required data formatting and check digit calculation in the background - no macros or programming required. AI documents with embedded barcodes have no external dependencies and can be freely shared.
