Condor Ferries | Condor Islander in Poole Dorset

Condor Islander is ‪@condorferriesuk‬ new acquisition and due to commence services between Portsmouth and the Channel Islands of Jersey & Guernsey in autumn 2023.

Condor Islander was delivered in 2005 as Dueodde for Bornholms Traffikken between Ronne, Ystad, Koge and Sassnitz.

In 2010 she moved to the southern hemisphere under the name Straitsman for Blue Bridge Cook Straight Ferries between Wellington & Picton New Zealand.

In 2023 she was obtained by Condor Ferries under the name Condor Islander and returned to the northern hemisphere.

This footage depicts Condor Islander in Poole, Dorset, UK in August 2023 on transit to/from Southampton undertaking some refurbishment work prior to her entering service.
