MakeToys MCB-03P Devil Stinger - Black Zarak - Review

Video review with comparisons for MakeToys Devil Stinger (MCB-03P), their take on an unofficial Black Zarak. This figure transforms from robot, to a giant scorpion, to a temple/base. Devil Stinger is a redeco/remold of MakeToys Pandinus, or their version of G1 Scorponok. Devil Stinger homages the Super-God Masterforce character called Black Zarak. The G1 Black Zarak toy is nortoriously rare, due to his limited availability and gold-pastic-syndrome issues. This updated take on the character gives toy collectors a massive version of the evil Decepticon. Just like Pandinus, this is a solidly engineered and produced figure with lots of poseability and display options. The new color scheme and remolded parts really stand out on MCB-03P.

Comparisons between Devil Stinger, Takara Legends Super Ginrai, Takara Legends God Ginrai, deluxe class Getaway, MakeToys Rioter Despotron, and MakeToys Striker Noir. These comparisons show that Devil Stinger works as both a Classics/Generations version of Black Zarak, or a great addition to a growing MakeToys Cross Dimension collection.
