Shinedown's Brent Smith: Becoming a Rockstar

On Celebrity Jobber with Jeff Zito this week, Brent Smith from Shinedown. From humble begginings in Tennessee where his dad was a coach and teacher, how did he end up as the lead singer for the legendary band? Things were a little shaky when Brent told his dad he was going to be a musician and didn't want to compete in sports anymore. What would have been if Brent never got his big break? What type of work would he be doing if he wasn't famous for being the lead vocalist and one of the main songwriters of the rock band Shinedown? Many celebrities will tell you that if not for that one lucky break or meeting, they would be a fireman, or working as an Occupational Therapist somewhere. They may have been just a jobber.
