ROUND function in Excel rounds a number to a specified number of digits, which can be positive, negative, or zero.It can round to the right or left of the decimal point. 
Syntax:=ROUND(number,num_digits)
Example
1)Round(1234.534,2) will return 1234.53 because 3rd digit to the right of decimal is 4 which is less than 5 so 2nd digit to the right of decimal will be unchanged.The result will be 1234.53.
2)Round(26.536,2) will return 26.54 because 3rd digit to the right of decimal is 6 which is greater than or equal to 5 so 2nd digit to the right of decimal 3 will increase by 1 and it will be 4. The result will be 26.54.
3)Round(26.53,0) will return 26 because it will ommit number to the right of decimal and will be round to the nearest integer i.e. 26
4)Round(52.68,-1) will return 50 because when rounded digit is negative then it will ommit decimal part and round the number.Here -1 will check One place of number is greater than or equal to 5 or not.One place of the number is 2 which is less than 5 so One place will be 0 and Ten place will remain unchanged.Result will be 50
5)Round(62.68,-2) will return 100 . Ten place of the number is 6 which is greater than 5 so One & Ten place will be replaced by 0 and digit in Hundred place will be 1.So the result will be 100.
