The problem of land degradation has not received much public attention, but has become a severe global challenge nevertheless. Over 75% of our land has been transformed from its natural state, and almost a quarter is degraded.This video explains how the concept of land degradation neutrality can help us reverse this trend.Land degradation neutrality – abbreviated LDN – describes a world in which no land is lost to degradation at the bottom line and was adopted as a common target under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 15.3).
