Mater Foundation Receives Record $6.5m Donation

Health is one of the cornerstones of Springfield City and to celebrate its 28th birthday, master developer - Springfield City Group - gifted $6.5 million to the Mater Foundation for medical research. This is the largest single donation ever received by the not-for-profit organisation and will help develop the next generation of highly-skilled medical leaders.

Springfield City Group engaged We Create Content to develop a public relations campaign to gain publicity for the announcement. Our end-to-end strategy encompassed key message development, story development, stakeholder engagement, content creation including video production and press release writing and pitching to our contacts in the media.

The campaign received widespread coverage in local media. News outlets including the Courier Mail, Nine News Brisbane, 4BC, ABC Radio and the Queensland Times ran the story.
