The App Olympics Competition, the UAE’s flagship contest for Mobile App Development, has further strengthened Dubai’s leadership in mobile application development and attracted creative pioneers in this vital sector.
We had the opportunity to catch up with team Emudy, the creators of the best youth-made app. This app, developed by Mohamed Hamad, Ryan, and Mohammed Rashid, is designed to assist students in preparing for their EmSATs, enabling them to gain entry to universities and apply for scholarships.

In the category of Social Impact apps, 'The Intern' took the prize. This AI-powered app connects college students with highly relevant internships. Another noteworthy app is 'Bareeq', an innovative platform connecting users with unique homemade products from their community. In the advanced app category, 'Takeem' - this app aims to reduce the time, stress, and cost associated with long-term renting.
