Lonavala to Dadar by Pragati Exp. - July 1995

Another treat for DC lovers, since the video depicts a journey made entirely in DC territory - our return trip to Bombay. After reaching Lonavala by Indrayani Exp., my wife and I decided to upgrade to First Chair Car for the return journey to Dadar, since 2nd sitting seemed a little too crowded. On the day of the journey, we reached Lonavala early enough to witness the Deccan Queen pull into the station with a matched WCM5. That set the tone for a memorable day including a relaxed journey aboard the Pragati Exp. with another WCM5 in charge. I was able to savor the train's passage through the lush green Bhor Ghats and fast runs thereafter. Here are some other scenes to watch out for:
