3 Track Railroad Crossing Near Altoona, Pennsylvania On Norfolk Southern Railroad. Have You Ever Seen This Herzog Rock Train Machine? Includes A Big Intermodal Train At Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania Going Down The Hill Into Altoona. The Railroad Crossing Has Several Crossing Shanties.
I was on my way to Strasburg, Pennsylvania to visit Thomas The Tank Engine and made a stop north of Altoona. I stopped at Bellwood to see if I could get a few trains at an interesting railroad crossing that I found on Google Maps. I got the Herzog rock train with a couple different types of hopper cars and a couple of interesting pieces of machinery. I believe the machines are used to unload the rock train. We also see a Norfolk Southern Railroad local freight and an intermodal train. The railroad crossing has several crossing shanties that house the batteries and electrical equipment. 160.875. The video also includes a bonus shot of a big intermodal train going around the curve at Horseshoe Curve, Pennsylvania. This train was dropping down the hill into Altoona.
