P&O Arvia Mediterranean cruise....Sea day..La Coruna

After our Sail away from Southampton we had one full sea day before reach ing our first port of call La Corona in Spain .
After breakfast we spent time exploring the ship and of course browsing the shops . That evening we dined in the main restaurant before heading to the theatre to watch the brilliant Dean Richardson as Freddy Mercury .
What a show , one of the best we have seen on any cruise ship .
After another nice sleep we woke up to find us coming in to the port of La Corona . This was to be our second visit, and as the city is so close to where the ship docks we decided we were going to do our own thing .
After exploring the Central part of the city we decided to take the hour long walk along the coast to the Torre de Hercules lighthouse . This is a Unesco World Heritage site and is well worth the visit .

After our walk back to the ship we headed to the buffet for a quick snack
That evening we ate in the 6th Street Diner the American themed restaurant , we were lucky to have a window seat where we and other diners spotted water being blown from the blow holes of whales in the distance.
That evening we spent time around the ship enjoying the entertainment including the 7/10 club .Before heading to bed and preparing for Two more sea days
