Eric Moxey: The war hero that history forgot?

Описание к видео Eric Moxey: The war hero that history forgot?

Eric Moxey fought on the first day of the Somme as an officer, flew Sopwith Camel in WW1, was at Dunkirk and then died defusing a bomb at RAF Biggin Hill.

He was awarded the George Cross posthumously but seems to be the war hero that history forgot.

This short film is in memory of all those involved in the Battle of Britain who showed just as much courage on the ground as those who flew above them in the air.
