Riding a Loop Hancock Md (west then east)
25 miles

mp 134.3 on C&O towpath has a detour.
Towpath bridge is closed. Concerned for pillar columns that have sunk.
Creek has a rustic fill dirt/stone detour there at the bridge. Steep paths to/from the creek but better than a steep rough 6 mile road detour.

Normally would just detour onto the WMRT at mp 136.1/131.7 but WMRT is blocked at times due to milling/paving work...possibly thru May 2025.

Mp 134.3 bridge closure....best to try the Creek crossing if not had much rain and path isn't muddy/slippery.
