The Wounded Healer Archetype In An Age of Pathologized Suffering

Only by examining our own wounds can we truly discover wholeness, the unique expression of this life, and what we are called to bring forth into the world to help others. However, befitting Greek mythology, that is a Herculean task. Like all archetypes, the Wounded Healer has its shadow polarities constellated within our inner universe, which can dim the light within the wound.
