The Born Primitive Versatile Short has steadily made their way into my training short rotation.

One of my favorite training shorts to date is the Ten Thousand Interval Short and I was curious how the Versatile Short would compare. Prior to getting these shorts, I had heard good things about Born Primitive's gear and their customer service.

If you're a guy that really prioritizes a good compression liner in their shorts then I think the Versatile Short will really resonate with you.

This short has performed well for all of my tests and I've liked how they stretch well when lifting and tackling my cross-training sessions.

I also appreciate that the compression liner pocket in this short is big enough for modern-day phones.

That said, there are a couple of things with this short that I think could bother some guys like its lack of breathability.
