On Louise Nevelson: A Conversation Between Cecilia Alemani & Julia Bryan-Wilson

To mark the final days of the exhibition "Louise Nevelson: Persistence" at the historic Procuratie Vecchie in Venice, Pace Live presented a conversation at our New York gallery between exhibition curator Julia Bryan-Wilson and Cecilia Alemani, Curator of the 59th Biennale di Venezia. An official Collateral Event of La Biennale, "Persistence" celebrated the 60th anniversary of Nevelson’s representation of the United States in the American Pavilion. It also coincided with the inclusion of the artist’s monumental 1968 sculpture, "Homage to the Universe," in the Arsenale portion of Alemani’s main exhibition for La Biennale.
