What does debug code do?

🟢 By pressing X, Mario cycles between all the power-ups (small, big, fire, frog, tanooki, hammer) at any time.
🟢 By pressing A, Mario enters free roaming mode. This means he can move freely around the level, pass through blocks, go through walls, floors, etc.
🟢 Pressing L pauses the game, and pressing R advances the game by 1 frame (the music continues normally, and this isn't very useful; I only used it to create a slow-motion effect at certain moments or to show glitched things on the screen).
🟢 By pressing Select, Mario gains the star power at any time (but the music doesn't play).
