ストンプ、手拍子、そして声を重ねてくれたみんな、ありがとう。
このMVは、たまたま16年振りに訪れることになった、私が小さい頃住んでいたカリフォルニアで撮りました。第二の故郷です。
「ロスに行くんですが、一緒に来てTorchのMV撮るってどうですか…？」こんな大それた提案に即答でのってくれたやもりさんは最高にぶっ飛んでます。心から感謝です。
ドローンも初めて飛ばして、現地に住んでいる私の同級生に車を出してもらい真夏の砂漠で8時間の撮影。３人で駆けずり回りました。砂漠を染めるあのオーロラの夕焼けは一生忘れない…正真正銘みんなで、みんなと作った手づくりのMV。
私を作った大事な場所でこの曲のMVを撮れたことが心から嬉しい。感謝。感謝しかありません。
みんなとならもっとすごいことができる！すごい世界が見れる。

「まっすぐに走れば走るほど風当たりは強くなって、心の炎が消えてしまいそうになる時もある。でも消えてたまるか、消させてたまるか、高く燃え上がってやる。
ソロ転身後初のツアーと海外公演において、そんな思いに応援してくれるみんなの音、声が何重にも倍音のように重なってできた曲。まだまだ重なり、まだまだ広がっていきます。
世界中で逆風が吹き続けている時代、それでも私たちは何度でも立ち上がろう。
この曲がみんなの空も照らせますように。Torch your sky!」

Thank you to my amazing fans who participated in this song’s recording with your voices, foot stomps, and hand claps.
We filmed this in California, where I used to live in, 16 years ago. I really can’t thank YAMO enough for coming with me to shoot this video. You’d never believe how big of a sacrifice he’s made, in order to make the sound and video of the song into this beautiful piece.
Also, a huge thanks to my friend in LA, for driving us all the way to the Death Valley and back, and running around on the boiling desert with us.
Anyway, I will never forget the breathtaking sunset, and that huge full moon above us on the way back.

Last but no least, thank you to all of you who let me sing and always encourage me to set my feet into somewhere unknown but beautiful. This song wouldn’t have been made if it weren’t for your existence.
I wish to continue this wonderful journey with you.
