Today we look at the the films and TV shows which have depicted tank battles set in the Second World War. They will be a lot of familiar ones and a few less well known, but what we will try to do is look at what is presented accurately and well.

Before looking at fiction, we talk a bit about actual footage. The documentary At the Front in North Africa from 1942 can be found on YouTube at

We also think about the famous footage from Cologne in 1945, and I would recommend the book by Adam Makos, Spearhead: An American Gunner, His Enemy, and a Collision of Lives in World War II (2020).
