All songs were written, arranged & performed by Submarine.

All songs (C) Clarke/Dean/Gelder/Marklew 'Submarine' 1998

Recorded on a 1990s camcorder as the band tried out a PA. They didn't buy it in the end.

Submarine formed in the North East Lincolnshire coastal town of Grimsby in October 1995. In the fall of 1997, the band took up residency in the well-loved, 16-track, analogue recording studio 'Pete's Pad/Total Audio', on Cambridge Street, Cleethorpes (sadly, no longer there). The 'Men In Black' (as the local press liked to call them), wrote, rehearsed, recorded and played live extensively throughout 1998, their most productive and successful year.

Their critically acclaimed original material caught the attention of multiple record labels, publishers, managers and music industry lawyers - most notably the head of The Band Register, one Peter Whitehead, who became their mentor until the Summer of 1999, when the band called it a day.

These songs are the legacy of the combined talents and the incredibly prolific 4-years Scott, David, Peter and Paul spent together. Presented with a montage of photographs and Submarine ephemera of the time (that logo is still a killer), they hope - almost 25-years on - that you still find their music relevant today.
