Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students in the Classroom

Описание к видео Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students in the Classroom

Whether you teach in Logan, St. George, Vernal, Tooele, or anywhere in between…if you have students who are deaf or hard of hearing, they made this video for you. They talk about the wonderful work that you can do, to help them learn and thrive at school.

The Utah School for the Deaf created this video. Some of these students use American Sign Language, some are lip readers, many use hearing aids and cochlear or baja hearing devices. These learners have experts in the largest school districts who help them, others have special outreach teachers from the Utah School for the Deaf who travel to the students in their neighborhood schools to help them with all things hearing. The collaboration is always underway and the goal is to ensure these unique students succeed in their education. #WeAreUSDB
