Broken 1800's Marble Grave Marker Restoration

A lot of us started doing things differently during the Coronavirus pandemic. I started learning more about my genealogy. I found out that I still own some of my third great grandfathers property that he had owned most likely since the 1860's, or even possibly earlier. I knew that it had belonged to my great grandmother. But I'd not thought about where it may have come from before her.
I found that his grave marker was broken and almost completely covered by dirt and grass. At the same point, I met up with some others who share a passion for grave marker restoration. Follow along with us as we learn how to repair, replace, and to the best of our abilities restore a broken 1800's era marble grave marker at Neely's Creek ARP church in Rock Hill, SC.
