The Welsh Partbred (PB), like all Welsh ponies, originates from Wales in Great Britain. Partbred means that the breed must have only part Welsh blood. It is created by crossing Welsh ponies and other breeds of horses or ponies. The section of the Welsh pony does not matter, but the Welsh blood percentage must still be at least 12.5%.
