As L.A.’s chief lawyer and prosecutor, Mike Feuer has combined tough and effective prosecution with innovative public safety and quality of life initiatives. Under Feuer's authority, the city sued Wells Fargo for opening unauthorized accounts in consumers' names, winning restitution for victims and the largest civil penalty payment in his office's history. Feuer has also sued polluters and targeted gun violence, elder abuse, wage theft, substandard housing, and domestic violence. He is a co-founder of the national coalition Prosecutors Against Gun Violence.
