Electromagnetic interference is emitted by all electronics, and it can cause malfunctions if not properly managed. This video explains the basics behind EMI and how it effects electronics. You’ll also see how we test for EMI with our spectrum analyzer and learn how we reduce the noise emitted by our displays.

We can help protect and reduce the amount of EMI noise generated by our displays upon customer request. We use a spectrum analyzer with near field probes to detect the electromagnetic interference and determine where EMI shielding is needed.

In this demonstration we measure EMI emissions from our 5” TFT LCD displays. We compare the readings of a shielded display and an unshielded display to show the amount of noise reduced by this technique.
