The History of Cecilly Mill

The first textile mill was established on the site in the 1850s. The site went through a number of different owners, but provided a lot of employment in Cheadle. This short video tells the story of the various mills and the owners of the site.

This video was originally made for the 2019 Staffordshire Library Service's History Festival and was hosted on the Staffordshire County Council YouTube channel. As that video is now unlisted, the video was re-upload here with some minor edits.
