This video explains how to connect a water motor to a small well and how to install a float switch.Float Switch Wiring Diagram | Water Well Float Switch Connection | Water Pump Auto/Manual Control.

It uses two float switches and an 8 pin relay.

The selector switch can change this circuit to Auto / Manual mode.

A selector switch is used so that if one of the two float switches fails in an emergency, the motor cannot be activated, so this method can be used to activate the motor in the manual mode.

Overload protection is mandatory. Care should be taken as to the height at which the water pump can be used.
