The country has been embroiled in a raging debate on censorship with regard to the film ‘Udta Punjab’.
Pahlaj Nihalani, the head of Central Board of Film Certification, wants the filmmakers to remove all the references politicians, drugs, Punjab and even the title song of the film, claiming that they glorify drugs and show Punjab in bad light.
The Quint spoke to the youth of Punjab and they believe that the film should be passed with no cuts. They also said that the film portrays the true state of Punjab.
