Features that work, features that don't.

Mirrorlink recognises apps that will work with it. However the software on the car, blocks them when moving.

I can use lots of functions mirrored onto the car's screen while stopped.

However, I cannot use ones that should work. E.G. Google Maps, or Sony Walkman app.

SmartGate is an extra Wifi connection, allowing data to be viewed (throttle position etc) to be used. For Skoda Fabia, the wifi password is the VIN number. This can be changed by inputting 192.168.123.1

Mirrorlink through skoda allows a sat nav called Sygic. This is in google play store for £71.99. With my experience of apps working or not, I am not prepared to risk so much money for something to possibly not work.

I believe the software Skoda have on the radio is blocking apps and as told by Customer Services I am told to wait.

I just hope Android Auto is available this year.
