How to assign Boom Cards to Your Students - Easy and Quick Tutorial

What and Why Boom Cards?

Boom cards are digital task cards that you play on the Boom Learning website.

Easy and fun to use!
No printing, cutting, laminating
Interactive
Self-Grading and Self-Checking
Use with internet connected devices: computers, tablets, smartboards, and phones
Data tracking with paid subscription

Free Accounts: FastPin link only with no data collection
Offers an option to distribute a FastPin four-digit code and link that your whole class can access. FastPin links do not track data because no sign-in is required.

Paid accounts: FastPin and Hyperplay links for data collection
Super cheap yearly membership. You can assign both FastPin links and Hyperplay links. Hyperplay links require students to login into their accounts, play the digital task card while also collecting data for you, automatically. You are able to see which decks your students completed, their accuracy, and how much time they spent on the deck. You have the ability to generate reports using Hyperplay links.

Assigning Boom Cards:
You’ll start in your Boom library. All of the decks that you have on Boom are stored there. Locate the deck that you want to assign to your students and click the blue action button. You have two options when assigning decks to students (FastPin or Hyperplay) - see above for the option you would like to use.


You will receive a link to the task cards on the Boom Learning website when you download this resource. You will be asked to sign into your account or create a free account. All purchased decks can be found in your Library. Boom Cards are accessed and used on the Boom Learning website. There is no need to download, save, or print. To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. Use this resource on a tablet, computer, or Smartboard!
