How to make Coffee Filter Roses with Hey Angela Marie

Описание к видео How to make Coffee Filter Roses with Hey Angela Marie

Make AUTHENTIC looking coffee filter roses for less than 5 cents each!!! Make them in custom colors with acrylic craft paint and paint blends. So simple anyone can do it. It's so much fun making floral arrangements for your home with pennies and just a few minutes.

You will need:
acrylic craft paint. I used 5 colors for the petals; peach, deep pink and red mixed together and deep red and purple for depth on the edges of the leaves but you can use a minimum of 2 colors, a light color and a dark color. I used 2 colors for the coffee filter leaves and floral tape; dark green and light green, but you can use 1 green if you prefer. I got my paint at Walmart for 50 cents each, but you can get them at any craft supplier for around the same price.
USE MATTE FINISH!!! gloss affects the filter in a way that makes it more difficult to shape the flower in the end, although it can be done. It just doesn't look as natural in my opinion.
You also need scizzors, any white glue, wire and twigs from the back yard, which are free and look more natural, but you can use heavy gage wire for positioning in an arrangement or wooden skewers. You also need coffee filters. I got a 150 count pack from the Dollar Tree for $1.00. For the cost of the few drops of paint, glue, wire and 12 coffee filters turns out to be under 5 cents, so with an investment of about $5.50 you can make about 10-15 flowers with plenty of materials left over! For every pack of 150 count filters, you can make 10-15 more, so $6.50 equals 20-30 flowers, etc!!
Have fun and customize! I have also done both the flowers and leave in 1 pastel color for event arrangements and it looks amazing.

Thanks for allowing me to bring you this very cool project! Share it with a friend to help save them money and start one of my favorite addictions; being creative on a budget!!! SEE YOU NEXT TIME!!!!
